He enjoyed listings, sales and/or leases involving businesses, condominium projects, investment properties, raw land, and subdivision developments. He pursued the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member of the Realtor's National Marketing Institute, a designation issued by the National Association of Realtors. Carrigan's courtroom for eighteen months. It was during that courtroom work that he recognized that trial work was his calling. After he passed the Washington State Bar and the Colorado State Bar in 1983, he began employment at the law firm of Branney, Hillyard, Ewing and Barnes, then a premier personal injury firm representing injured persons across Colorado and Southern Wyoming. He continued his career with Branney, Hillyard, Ewing and Barnes, becoming a partner in 1985. He continued to work with the firm, now known as Branney, Hillyard, Kudla & Lee until 1990 when he, together with Steven H. Cook, Esq. formed the law firm of Cook and Lee, P.C. Mr. Lee worked at Cook and Lee, P.C. for ten years, and the firm grew to five lawyers. In 2000, he formed his own firm, Larry D. Lee, P.C., also located in Boulder, Colorado. In Mr. Lee's thirty years as an attorney in Colorado, he has represented more than 1500 persons injured in automobile collisions, by defective products, through medical malpractice, in slip/trip fall downs, by lawyer malpractice and in worker's compensation matters.
